SupplyKick CEO Josh Owens, sat down with the Indianapolis Business Journal to discuss the rapid growth and enormous success that we have seen over the last three years. SupplyKick was recently named #3 on the IBJ Fast25, the annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the Indianapolis area. Our revenue grew 335% from 2015 to 2017, and with that accelerated growth comes a lot of opportunities as well as challenges.
Josh recounts the story of how SupplyKick was started and how it has become one of the premier Amazon marketplace retailers. While rapid growth can be a big disruption to the norm, Josh highlights our core value of excessive communication as one of the key tactics that has allowed us to navigate uncertainty.
“The biggest thing that we found early on is excessive communication, and it’s one of our core values as a company. We’re just going to communicate a lot, even when we’re uncomfortable or don’t know the answer. We’re going to talk a lot about it and find the right path forward.”
